As the lead school for our Trust, we have been at the forefront of developing the next generation of outstanding teachers for several years. Working in close partnership with York St John University, we deliver a high-quality, school-centred PGCE programme that blends academic rigour with hands-on classroom experience. Our one-year programme is school-centred, enabling you to learn from highly skilled, dedicated and inspirational classroom practitioners from our friendly and dedicated schools within our trust. In addition to the training by TLLT teaching staff and workshop leaders, our trainees receive contemporary and up to date research-based training from tutors at York St John University. Together, we aim to provide an ambitious and high quality ITE training program which supports you on your journey to becoming an effective Primary School Teacher.
